Learn how to build your own fly rod.  We will start with a rod blank and a pile of components.  When you are finished you will have built a 3 wt rod, that cost about $120 (pricing details will follow).  It will take three Saturdays, plus 10 -15 hours of home work to complete your rod.  

Everyone will make the same 3wt rod so that we can help each other and mistakes will be less likely.  After the class, you will know how to source and buy components, select rod blanks, and make handles, all the skills necessary to make any type of rod you want.
